By all reports the standout bowler in this game was Parky.

In the remaining game, a very close win went to Trista Raines, Mal Altmann, and Shaun Marchant in defeating Harmony Raines, Maxine Elsom and Fox Raines, 16-15.

The best bowler in this match was Harmony Raines who played great bowls.

The winning skip in this game, Shaun ‘Sharkie’ Marchant also play-ed great bowls which was a big turnaround from his Cobar/Bourke form the weekend before.

Fours Championship

One game of Fours Champion-ships was played on March 9th. This game resulted in a very good win to Kayleb Doherty, Bob Rogers, Maxine Elsom and Rambo Young. This crew defeated Andrew Townsend, Tracey Riley, Blake Cook and David Duffy, 24-17.

Kayleb played great consistent bowls as lead for his team. After be-ing in a bit of a form slump at Cobar /Bourke, Rambo also redeemed himself by putting on a great display of bowling in his role as skip.

It was in no doubt, that it was Rambo’s calm and subtle demeanour that helped guide his team to victory.
