Peggy Mules’ now annual fundraising effort, for the Biggest Morning Tea, was held on the morning of Saturday, May 11. The Royal Hotel was host to the event, which attracted a good turnout. Food was donated by Peggy (pictured above, right) and those that attended the morning tea. Sandwiches, scones, biscuits, and cakes were all welcomed by eager attendees. In total, the event raised $540.05 for the Cancer Council thanks to what Peggy described as “the generous support of the community”, through donations, a raffle, and the sale of platters to take home.

“I would like to thank all the local businesses that donated prizes for the raffles, as well as Ash Jenkins from the Tooraweenah Hotel. It goes a long way.”
