Bendigo Bank has recently donated $30,000 towards building a shed to house Gilgandra Public School's new Sunshine Coach.
Chair of the Community Bank, Julie Prout said the bank board and staff were happy for the primary school to have the brand-new coach.

Community Bank Gilgandra (Bendigo Bank) have recently donated $30,000 towards the cost of building a shed to house Gilgandra Public School’s new Sunshine Coach. The new shed will be built on school grounds. Chair of the Community Bank, Julie Prout said the bank board and staff were happy for the primary school to have the brand-new coach.
“It creates so many opportunities for the student’s education and travel. As state government funding for schools has tightened, Community Bank Gilgandra stepped in, and we are pleased to be able to support the Gilgandra Public School. This is just one part of what support our local Community Bank can in turn offer the community,” said Mrs. Prout.
