Arrest made after weekend break-ins
A 30-year-old man has been refused bail over alleged property offences that occurred between Sunday, July 19 and Monday, July 20, 2026.

Police allege that the man that a number of homes were broken into and persons threatened in Gilgandra.
Police, with assistance from the Operational Support Group, and the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, arrested the man at a caravan park on Miller Street before taking him to Dubbo Police Station
He was charged with five offences including, two counts of larceny with value over or equal to $2000, demand property with menaces with intent to steal, enter building/land with intent to commit indictable offence, and Break and Enter house etc to steal value over or equal to $60,000.
Police investigations are ongoing.
