Services Club Stop Press, 10-years ago!

Cricket: Alec Cooper and Kenny Johnson were selected in the Macquarie Valley representative teams, Alec as wicket keeper/ batsmen in the under 16 team and Kenny as a medium pace bowler in the under 14s. 

Basketball: 36 teams nominated for the Audrey Naden Memorial Windmill Carnival. 

Golf: It was tough going during the Monthly Medal round with only two golfers managing to go lower than 70, those being Geoff Lummis and Peter Corby who both had 69. Geoff won on a countback. 

Cricket: Gilgandra kicks off their Country Plate campaign with an emphatic seven wicket win over Narromine.
