Last weeks golf results (6/3/22)

On Thursday afternoon we had 12 veterans play a nine-hole stroke. The winner was Gladys Harvey with a 321⁄2 nett. Second place went to Geoff Lummis with a nett 35. Third place was won by Mark Barwick with a nett 351⁄2.

Nick White won the nearest the pin, plus he also won the average ball. Gladys won the least number of putts with 13 putts for her round. On Saturday we had a small field of 10 golfers who played an 18-

hole stableford. There was a three-way countback for the winning places, as they all had 34 points for their round.

Mick Wilson came in first, Ian Ferguson came in second and Graeme Holland came in third. Gilgandra Toyota nearest the pin was won by Gladys Harvey.

On Sunday we started the golf but because of the heavy downpour, it was called off after only nine holes.
