Hinchcliffe Big Bash

Gilgandra Golf Club had a total of
12 veterans play last Thursday afternoon.
Winner on the day, was Andy
Harris with a net score of 34½.
Noel
Chandler came in second (on a
countback) from Bill Kirsop with both
players having a net score of 35.
Rob Hay won the nearest-the-pin
and Gil Riley won the average ball
with Ed Wlodarczyk coming out tops
in the putting comp with only 13 shots
on the green for his whole round.
Saturday was the first day for the
Hinchcliffe Family Big Bash with a
field of 23 golfers playing in perfect
summer weather. Coming in first place,
was Lyle Horwood with a score of
43 for his round.
Nearest-the-pin winners were:
2/11 — Mark Barwick
4/13 — Lyn Wong
7/16 — Lyle Horwood
Sunday was the second day of the
Big Bash event and, coming in first
on the day, was Quentin Karaitiana
with a score of 36 for his round.
Overall winner for both days, was
Lyle Horwood with a combined score
of 76.

Family for their sponsorship of the
weekend. Everyone had a good time,
with prizes galore on offer.
