Last Thursday afternoon, 14 veterans played a nine-hole Strokeplay event with Bob Dwyer the winner on nett 33. In other placings, Gil Riley came in second with a nett 33½; Andy Harris came in third, also on 33½ nett; with Gil also wining nearest-thepin. Mark Barwick won the average ball, plus the least-amount of putts for his round.

On Saturday, an 18-Hole Par event was run, which was sponsored by the family of the late Bob Foran, with 23 golfers on the day. Lyle Horwood won the event with Plus 3, Bill Welsh came in second with Plus 2, and Stan Doyle came in third with Plus 1. Matt Everett and Ken Williams both had a par score for their round, with the Gil Toyota nearest- the-pin going to Russell Anderson .

Matchplay results:

Todd Meyers and Stan Doyle, Two and One, defeated Lyle Horwood and Bruce Rodway;

Ike Morris and Liam Zell, Two and One, defeated Russell Anderson and Mick Wilson;

Nick Wright, Two and One; defeated Rob Hay.

On Sunday, the club played an 18-Hole Stableford with 11 golfers competing.

Nick Wright won the day with 36 points for his round;

Mark Barwick came-in second with 35 points;

and the Gil Toyota nearest-the-pin prize went to Marty Cross.
