Gidgee take out ABC Shield

Gidgee Cricket Club have won the Bendigo Bank ABC Shield, a serious achievement coming from fourth position on the ladder. Man of the match went to Elvy McKewen. Coonabarabran Cricket Club were “gallant in defeat”, it just wasn’t their day according to official sources.
