Bowling report - May 10

The result for Wednesday social bowls was a win for Rod Howchin, Mike New- stead, and Larry Clark.

A small field of Sunday bowlers result- ed in a victory for Dylan Marchant, Brent McKenzie, Lucy Scotti, and the swinger Rod Howchin.

The main event on Sunday was the second round of the Battlers Shield which involves teams from Gil, Gular, Mendoo- ran, and Warren. Results on the day were

Warren 108, Mendooran 88, Gil 80, and Gular 69.

Chris Atkins from Warren and Geanie Rogers compiled the draw and the score- cards. The third round of the Battlers Shield will be played in a fortnight at Mendooran.

The Cooee Pairs will also be held this Saturday in what will be a big day for the club.
