Position Vacant - Journalist - The Gilgandra Weekly
Applications are now open for the full-time role of a Journalist, in Gilgandra, NSW.
Initial 3-month contract - immediate start.
As the journalist, you will be required to produce and source content for the print edition weekly newspaper and online/digital sources.
You will need basic photography skills and a willingness to become involved in community activities and events.
Some weekend work and out of hours work is required.
Previous experience or relevant courses of study in communications - media or journalism, is an advantage, but not essential.
You must have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You must have a driver’s licence, own vehicle, and ability to travel as required.
This is a dynamic role involving reporting, photography and digital content production. Would suit graduate or young person looking for a start in media and communications.
