Wings and Things back in the sky this weekend
Exhilarating airshow, Warrumbungle Wings and Things, is set to take flight above Coonabarabran once again - this time bigger and better, much to the delight of locals and visitors.

The event, which was postponed earlier
this year, has been rescheduled for
this weekend.
Coonabarabran Aero Club vice president,
Geoff Gasior, said there would be
two-and-a-half days of aerial action.
“Most of the planes and the pilots will
arrive on Friday and they will be ready to
take scenic flights that afternoon,” he
said.
“Then there’s the main show on
Saturday, followed by more flights on
Sunday.”
There will be a range of planes on
display and in the sky, from the popular
World War II P-51 Mustang through to
the modern machines that 2019 Red Bull
Air Race World Champion, Matt Hall,
wields with great finesse.
All the amenities will be available on
the day with plenty of parking and the
Rotary Club will put on a barbecue.
Showgoers get all that for just a $5
gate entry fee.
“We really wanted to make it affordable
so the whole family can come along
and enjoy the day,” said Mr Gasior.
“The first Wings and Things last year
was huge and we’re expecting this one to
be twice the size.
“It should be a fantastic day for everyone and it is another attraction to add to the list of amazing things to do in Coonabarabran!”
