Trades & Services feature announced
In a major development a new Trades & Services feature has been announced for your local newspaper.

Managing editor Lucie Peart said this was an exciting
opportunity for local businesses with the feature being
designed to expand the reach - across the region - for
local advertisers in both print and online.
“I am excited to announce that the new Trades &
Services feature will be run across the company’s three
newspapers,” Mrs Peart said.
“We are very much a locally focused newspaper, but
we recognise that many business operators with trades
and services do have customers who come from outside
the local area. This might be people visiting town who
may use a particular service or a business with tradesmen
working across the region.
“Our local papers are reaching local people every
week. We’re part of our communities. A recent survey
found printed newspapers were considered an ‘essential
service’ to their community by both print readers (86
per cent) and non-print readers (64 per cent),” Mrs Peart
said.
Businesses can also take advantage of the opportunity
for spot-colour advertisements. The single spot-colour
choice will be set by the newspaper. All trades
and services advertisers will also be listed on The
Gilgandra Directory.
The easy-to-use (smart phone
friendly) directory supports businesses with Google
AdWords, actively advertising local businesses to customers
searching on Google – right when they are looking
for that particular service.
“Businesses will also be
able to take advantage of some free editorial as part of
their local promotion. “This is a true value package
deal,” Mrs Peart said.
The feature will be published monthly. If you would like to find out more about this special promotion or have any questions about how we can help promote your business, please get in touch.
