We would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning families for an exciting year ahead; we trust that both children and parents, have had a relaxing summer school holiday break.

It has been a pleasure to welcome eight new kindergarten students to school for their first day this week and, by all accounts, these pupils have settled in beautifully by embracing the new routines and already impressing with their enthusiasm and skills.

Class structure Our class structure this year will comprise two classes: kindergarten and year one-four.

Mrs Smith will be teaching kindergarten four-days-per-week; with Mrs Jenkin and Mrs Barry, sharing the year one-four class four days per week.

On Fridays, kindergarten to year four will be together with Mrs Barry, as the other teachers have release-time from class for lesson preparation, special projects, and for executive roles rostered throughout the week.

More details of the timetable will be revealed at the parent meeting which will be held on an evening yet to be confirmed. Karen Smith, principal
