Tooraweenah Lions Club (un)changeover dinner

A fantastic long lunch was held at the Tooraweenah Hall in celebration of the Tooraweenah Lions Club’s (un)change- over!

A quiz afternoon by quizmaster (and an award winner himself, for the second time, of which I will not comment on!) Matt Zell, with catering by Megan O’ Connor and $2,500 in prizes! Congratulations to the Pikes team who took out victory, with the top team’s prize winnings distributed as follows:

• RFDS Dubbo $1500

• Gilgandra and District Cancer Fundraisers $500

• Baradine Football Club $250 • Arthur Butler Museum $250

A special mention to the Robertsons’ table who each took home the (un)coveted wooden spoons.

Thank you to all the guests that attended and travelled as well as the members that helped with the day. Congratulations to Gary Gesell on his Lions Certificate of Appreciation for the assistance he has given to the club during the year.

And a big thank you to Miss Marie for looking after the kids table, it looked like great fun!
