The rock garden that’s rocking Gilgandra

Since the Coo-ee Heritage Centre’s opening last year, a rock garden just to the building’s left-hand-side has begun to grow. Rocks painted with all different scenes, colours, and textures are filling the space, and much to everyone’s surprise - nobody seems to know it’s origins. The rock garden is a particular favourite amongst visitors, with many asking for it’s story - but I suppose this will remain one of Gilgandra’s best kept secrets. Or perhaps one of the many mysteries the town will continue to ponder.
