Thanks to Gilgandra High School - Letter to the editor

We would like to publicly thank and
acknowledge Gilgandra High School (GHS). We
have been apart of the GHS community for
about 19 years and in this time, we have had four
children attend GHS.
Over the years, we have heard a lot of negatives
about the school from some students, exteachers
and parents.
But the positives from our experience far outweigh
the negatives.
Sure, no school is perfect, and no person is
perfect.
We have recently finished our time at GHS
with our daughter completing her HSC.
The year 12 class of 2022 have all done
amazing and should be extremely proud of themselves.
The results that have come from GHS in this
year’s HSC are outstanding and although the students
did wonderful on their own, this is a team
effort and credit must go also to the fantastic
team of teachers.
You have all gone above and beyond for these
students including organising classes before and
after school, feeding them breakfast and afternoon
tea, and taking personal calls outside
school hours and on weekends.
I have no hesitation in recommending GHS
to any potential students.
From the office staff to the executive team,
teachers and SLSO’s, every aspect of the school
is to be commended.
As the saying goes, “you only get out of life
what you put in” and GHS you have given 100
per cent in our eyes.
