Tent of Promise visit Gil

The Tent of Promise team spent six days camped in Hunter Park last week to share in prayer, worship, and present their Bible Panorama to the community. Photo by The Gilgandra Weekly: Lucie Peart.

The Tent of Promise visited Gilgandra last week holding revival meetings and bringing with them a 30-metre long panorama of Genesis to Revelation.

Local church host, Pastor Simonea Barden said over the six days in Gilgandra, the Tent of Promise team personally ministered to 132 people.

“There were 16 people that chose Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, too many to count that were baptised in the Holy Spirit and set free,” she said.

“People were set free from intimidation, fear, suicidal thoughts, addictions, sicknesses and more. Many were encouraged to continue the good work for the Lord with His grace and power. Lots of prayer for Gilgandra, businesses, schools, council and services.”

Two tents were encamped in Hunter Park, with one housing the panorama, which can’t be photographed due to copyright protections. Tent of Promise comes with 29 years of running tent outreaches across Australia, they are professional, experienced and great ambassadors for the body of Christ.

They impart faith to believe and receive the promises of God. They are a Kingdom-focused ministry, meaning they believe in the whole church body functioning together for the purposes of the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Total evening attendance was around 250 over the whole event.
