St Joseph’s School - Feb 8, 2023

Welcome back!

We welcomed students, staff, and families — both old and new — back to school last week for the start of another productive and fun year of learning and activities at St Joseph’s.

We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and we look forward to a prosperous 2023.

A special welcome to our Kinder class and other new students. We hope all the new members of our school family, find their time at St Joey’s enjoyable and rewarding.

Year six/kindergarten buddies

It was an exciting time last Monday when the Year Six students were introduced to their “Kinder Buddies”. They now have a big job in front of them making sure our new Kinders settle in well at St Joseph’s.

The Year Six students and Kinder children, will do things like visit the church together, have lunch together, and be there for one another.

Student Leaders Investiture Mass

It was a wonderful celebration at mass last Thursday when our Year Six Leaders received their leadership badges.

We thank Gilgandra’s Citizen of the Year, Jenny Johnston, who attended the mass and gave a wonderful address regarding the attributes of successful leaders. Congratulations to our year six class and we all look forward to working with them as they lead us through 2023.
