Preschool grant

The grant will go towards increasing resources for children to increase opportunities for learning within the current sustainable project being run during the daily program.

This has been further supported by a visit from Netwaste who provided information on composting and worm farms with ongoing maintenance.

A portion of the grant is designated to go towards introducing a native beehive to Gilgandra Preschool. This adds another layer of learning through understanding the importance of bees for biodiversity and the continued pollination of native plants.

The aim of this component of the program at Gilgandra Preschool is to provide self-sufficient gardens for cultivating produce so that children can pass this information onto their families and the wider community.
