Pollies at Collie
Collie Hotel was the epicentre of all things politics last Friday evening, as Nationals party politicians Sam Farraway MLC, Annette Turner (candidate for Barwon), and former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce mingled with locals.

A barbecue dinner was on offer, while the politicians
heard locals’ concerns and needs, all while ensuring the
people of the Collie district and beyond keep Mrs
Turner at the top of their minds come voting time.
Members of the public have said that the ‘pollies at the pub’ event has not altered their vote (presumably because it was attended mostly by National party members), but they are interested in the upcoming state election’s campaign period.
