New Gil SES response trailer

The trailer was granted under the NSW Government SES Fleet renewal program and is a much-welcomed tool to the team.

The unit is also in line for a new primary rescue truck later in 2022. The trailer holds the essential equip- ment to allow for rescue and repair in various storm and

flood related damage. It allows for the temporary repair of rooves and windows, and can assist in managing downed trees and tree branches that are threatening life, threatening further property damage, or blocking public roads.

The team at Gilgandra SES have conducted their own training sessions to undergo familiarisation with the trailer contents.
