Move for main street amenities

The temporary Miller Street public toilets will be relocated from the plaza near the Library Hub construction, to the IGA carpark at the rear of the ambulance station near the laneway in due course.

The transition will occur over the coming week. This move comes as the Library Hub Project progress- es, with council assuring locals the transition will not impact accessibility.

Council have added that the IGA carpark amenities will be completed, prior to the de-commissioning of the Gil Plaza amenities.

“The amenities in the IGA carpark, will be available for the duration of the Gil Library Hub construction, and the transition will occur over the coming week,” council has said.

After construction is complete, the Miller Street toi- lets are set to operate in a similar area to its original spot, on the side of the new Gil Library Hub building.
