More than what’s underfoot at Thompson’s Flooring

Owners Jade and Matthew Thompson, are very excited to share their new local shop front with the people of Gilgandra and beyond, with a wide-range of flooring, lighting, and window furnishing options now available.

“Matt’s been in the flooring industry for over 20 years, but this [the flooring centre] came about in the last year-and-a-half,” Jade explained.

“I suppose it was more for the town, something new to bring into town, and the next step for Matt. He’s been a layer for so many years, but really wanted to be a supplier and have his own stuff,” she added.

Combining Matthew’s experience with Jade’s love of interior design, Thompson’s Flooring Centre was created as the complete flooring, lighting, and window furnishing experience.

“We want people to know we are here, and we don’t just do flooring,” Jade added.

“We do flooring, lighting, floor rugs and window furnishings, blinds, shutters, curtains… just extra things to offer to get people through the door. If you’re not in the market for flooring, there’s still things to look at,” Jade said.

“We have gotten really positive feedback, everyone’s really excited to have something here in town, another actual shop front, not just a service. Somewhere where you can come in and browse things,” she concluded.
