More funding for students

As a result of the very successful open garden day, the Gilgandra Garden Club has made a $7000 donation to the Gilgandra Country Education Foundation (GCEF). 

The donation was handed over on Monday, November 6, after the club settled their costs for the popular 25th anniversary garden day event held in October. 

GCEF treasurer Bryson Luff and member Joan Staggs accepted the donation and said the money would help to support at least another three students with study expenses.
