Local volunteers receive premier's citations

Members of the Gilgandra and Balladoran Rural Fire Service units received bushfire emergency citations from the premier of NSW Gladys Berejiklian for their work during the black summer bushfires. District officer Graham Bunyan said that the awards were not only for those on the front lines, but also volunteers who stayed back and protected the Castlereagh region. Mr Bunyan, Steven Basham and Mark Sandry presented the awards.
