Local branch celebrates international Red Cross day

The local Gilgandra branch of Australian Red Cross celebrated its founder’s (Henri Dunant) birthday on May 8, with a morning tea in Coo-ee Village Hall.

Though numbers were small, it was a happy occasion with a Devonshire Tea on offer in addition to other goodies.

 Posters and leaflets, regarding services provided by Red Cross, together with some of Gilgandra’s connections, were on display.

Trauma Teddies, knitted by members Marj Josephs, Robyn Harris and Nan Nalder who also joined in the celebrations.
