High school students visit local newspaper

Last week, four students from Gilgandra High School’s year nine Aboriginal studies class ventured over to Gilgandra Newspapers, to discuss all things media. The students got a tour from managing editor Lucie Peart - from paper layout to collating. While not too many questions were asked, the students expressed their intrigue, and are looking forward to being welcomed back soon to talk about the journalistic side of the media, and the role of the media in Aboriginal representation.
