Gulargambone Preschool to officially open
Gulargambone Preschool’s long awaited official opening will finally cut the tape later this week.

Members of the Gulargambone and
Gilgandra community, as well as family
and friends of preschoolers, will gather
on the new preschool grounds, and celebrate
the project that has been over half a
decade in the making.
The $2.3 million preschool opened its
doors to students in early February for
the first time, and teachers are bursting at
the seams to show it off.
“The official opening is really a
chance to have a good look around the
building and at the amazing landscaping,”
said acting director of Gulargambone
Preschool, Crystal Mudford.
“I see it as out chance to say thank
you for supporting us over the past five
years, show what we’ve got and say
thank you. To anyone who bought a raffle
ticket or supported us in any way,
thank you.”
Morning tea and coffee will be provided,
as well as the Gulargam-bone
Lion’s Club famous sausage sizzle truck.
Uncle Ralph Naden will also be making
an appearance, as he will performing
a traditional smoking ceremony to welcome
the new school.
“We hope to have lots of people come
to share how excited we are!” said Mrs
Mudford.
Mrs Mudford would like to remind
everybody to please register you attendance.
“The event is free, we just need to know how many sausages we need to buy!
