Stocktake Closure

The library is closed this week for our two-yearly stocktake, as a branch of North Western Library. All loans will be extended to cover the closure period, and items can still be returned at any time via the book return chute. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your patience.

Storytime fun at the library

Over the past few weeks, we were delighted to hold three special storytime sessions at the library. First off, Gilgandra Preschool visited and enjoyed stories, rhymes, songs, parachute games and colouring. Next came Baby Rhymetime; babies and parents enjoyed songs, rhymes and a story with Jenny and Rhonda. Finally, family day care educators and their children joined us to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime, where children around Australia enjoy the same book at the same time. This year, the chosen book was ‘The Speedy Sloth’ by Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie. Thank you to all the lovely children, parents and educators who joined us for these storytime sessions.
