DFYM LEGO® Club

At our last session of DFYM (Designs From Your Mind) LEGO® Club, our builders studied geography, learning about flags of the world and famous buildings. Working solo or in groups, the builders created many flags of the world, before picking from the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Twelve Apostles and, the Great Wall of China and building them in LEGO® bricks. These impressive creations are on display in the library.

Tech Club

The bees were dancing and zooming around the library at our last session of Tech Club, as our coders experimented with ‘Bee-bots’, a floor robot which helps children develop control, programming and communication skills. Our programmers work- ed on pre-designed floor challenges, built their own mazes for the Bee- bots to navigate, and designed dance routines for multiple robots.
