Puff and Blow

Primary students at the school recent enjoyed the “puff and blow” introduction to musical instruments with the Macquarie Conservatorium last week. Lessons with existing students begin this week.

Swimming Carnival

Last Friday our school held its annual swimming carnival and it was fantastic to see so many students attend the carnival, participate, and cheer on their friends. All students are to be applauded for their encouragement and sportsmanship throughout the day. The competition between the three house groups was intense all day. Well done to Darling, who ended-up victorious. Congratulations also to the following age champions:

Senior champions — Callan Tobin and Kahlea McEwen;

11-year-old champions — Kobi Wright and Huni Karaitiana;

Junior champions — Tison Swon-Leone and Adelaide Mudford.

Infants Water Fun Day

While the primary school students enjoyed the swimming carnival, infants students remained at school and participated in a water fun day. There was a slip-and-slide, water painting, water fights, and sprinklers all set-up around the school. After the activities, students enjoyed an ice block and a movie to finish-off the week.
