Scripture Service

Gilgandra Public School staff and students last Wednesday attended a special scripture service at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church with the whole school and their amazing scripture teachers. At this wonderful event, students participated in singing, song actions, and a fun puppet show. At the end of the service, all students were lucky enough to receive a candy cane and laminated ornaments with a Bible verse for their Christmas trees. The students all enjoyed the scripture service and were very grateful for the gentlemen who ran the event and took their time to teach the pupils about God.

Farewell Chris Gwyn

After a long and dedicated career teaching, delivering remedial Mathematics and English programs and, more recently, speech therapy and “Hear Our Heart” programs, Gilgandra Public School bids Chris Gwyn a fun farewell and a happy retirement. From the whole school community, we will all miss you
