At the November meeting of the Gilgandra Historical Society, it was reported that, though members had been busy, visitor numbers for October were lower than the previous month.
The covering of windows on the north wall has been completed, with Neil Cooper removing weeds and scraping back dirt from the wall in preparation for installation of the mural. Later in the week artist Jack Randell was already on site with his assistants, working on the mural. This work will be completed soon, thanks to council for sourcing a suitable grant.
We are very grateful to all those people donating items for display at the museum, however, space is becoming very limited. Robert Roach and Frank Zell loaned their tractors to relocate machinery within the shed and Phil Howard and Gordon Evans have prepared the garden bed at the front of the museum and established suitable plants.
