Gilgandra High School changes

Timothy Llyod has accepted the role and he is looking forward to meeting students, staff, and community. He brings with him broad experiences from a number of schools where he has held leadership positions. Mr Lloyd has come to Gilgandra High School from Guyra Central School.

Ilana Austen will be the relieving deputy principal for term two, Caitlin Gadsby has been appointed relieving head teacher of support and Kristen Skewes has accepted the position of relieving head teacher of science.

On Friday, April 8, GHS bid farewell to the following members of staff:

• Erica Burge has been appointed as executive principal at Peel High School, Tamworth;

• Sheryn West accepted a position at Jindabyne Central School;

• Di Irvin has been appointed as assistant principal at Frank Partridge VC Public School, Nambucca Heads;

• Kristy Vergamalis will be a learning and support teacher at Dubbo College South Campus;

• Ms Camilla Griffiths has accepted a permanent position as school psychologist at Buninyong Primary School, Dubbo;

• Janette Whitford has accepted a permanent position in the English faculty at Temora High School; and

• Sam Churchill is returning to Gulargambone Central School as a SLSO.
