‘Flower Girl Bob’ watches over

Together the children from Gilgandra Preschool and members of the community garden group planted seedlings in the preschool’s garden.

The preschool students gave the seedlings a good watering-in after planting.

The children were overjoyed to be giving a helping hand, and even taught the ‘grown ups’ which plants were which.

But most excitingly, ‘Flower Girl Bob’ was put into prime position. The beloved scarecrow lovingly named by the children now watches over all the newly planted seedlings.
