Come Home to Gil raises over $25,000

While it was a while ago now, the Come Home to Gilgandra Festival has left a lasting impact. The October long weekend event, while an excellent excuse to catch up with long lost friends, also doubled as a fundraiser for Gilgandra and District Cancer Fundraisers. A total of $28,781.31 was raised over the whole weekend, and the committee are blown away with the generosity visitors and locals showed. “A massive thank you from the committee to the shire council, all sponsors, and very importantly, to the people of Gilgandra and those that travelled back home and gave so generously.”
