Classroom News Gilgandra High School

Gilgandra High School's senior boys basketball team travelled to Dubbo to compete in the CHS Regional Basketball Carnival on March 8.

The team played extremely well, winning against Mudgee and Peakhill. They made it to the finals and came up against Dubbo Senior Campus. The team consisted of mostly junior players, who represented with pride and showed great sportsmanship. Congratulations to our team on a great effort.

On Thursday, March 10, 13 students represented GHS at the Western Region Swimming Carnival in Dubbo. Congratulations to Dallas Carr and Alana Elsom for qualifying to state for 100m breaststroke.

Also, to the under 17-19 girls relay team consisting of Kelsey Hutchison, Sarah Schier, Jade Elsom, and Sarah Temple, for finishing in second place, which qualifies the team to represent at state. Congratulations to all swimmers for a hugely successful day.
