Better with Age

Over 80 people attended the ‘Better With Age’ concert held in Gilgandra over the weekend, an event facilitated by the Warren Chamber Music Festival.

Catering was provided by the Gilgandra CWA, as well as the Collie day and night branch, with special thanks to Collie resident and CWA member Helen Murray who was instrumental in organising the day.

Artistic director of the Warren Chamber Music Festival said it was a wonderful afternoon, and she appreciated all those who lend a hand.

“The afternoon was extremely enjoyable for all that attended,” she said. 

“Music performances by Kim Pearson, Neill Ryan, Nick Evans and myself added to the enjoyable lunch. The trivia was loads of fun. The main aim was to celebrate, thank, and acknowledge a that older people in the community contribute to our rural towns.”

Attendees walked away with a new spring in their step, and were appreciative of the afternoons entertain- ment.
